At Kenny Ross Subaru, we believe that being a “neighborhood” dealership means more than just selling cars—it means being a pillar of support for the people who live here. This winter, our team had the incredible opportunity to put those values into action through a partnership that warmed our hearts as much as it warmed our community.
The Subaru Loves to Help® Initiative
As part of the nationwide Subaru Loves to Help® initiative, Kenny Ross Subaru joined forces with two incredible organizations: Beverly’s PGH and Operation Warm.
Operation Warm is a national nonprofit dedicated to providing brand-new, high-quality winter clothing to children who need it most. By gifting a child a new coat, we aren’t just providing a layer of fabric; we are providing them with the confidence to head to school and the freedom to play outside during the coldest months of the year.
Making a Difference with Beverly’s PGH
We were honored to work alongside Beverly’s PGH, a local organization known for its tireless dedication to supporting children and families in the Pittsburgh area. Together, we distributed brand-new coats to dozens of local children.
There is something truly special about seeing a child’s face light up when they put on a warm, colorful new coat that is theirs to keep. For our team, seeing those smiles and hearing the gratitude from local families was an unforgettable experience. It served as a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.
More Than Just a Coat
At Kenny Ross Subaru, we know that a coat represents more than just physical warmth. To a child, it represents:
- Confidence: Feeling proud and prepared when walking into school.
- Health: Staying protected against the harsh Pennsylvania winter.
- Community: Knowing that their local community cares about their well-being.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s supporting local nonprofits or helping families stay warm, we are proud to stand alongside partners like Beverly’s PGH and Operation Warm.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made this collaboration possible. We look forward to many more opportunities to “show up” for our community in ways that truly matter.
