Gratitude & Community: Kenny Ross Mazda Hosts 2nd Annual Military Appreciation Event

This Memorial Day weekend, the team at Kenny Ross Mazda was deeply honored to host our 2nd Annual Military Appreciation Event. As a proud member of our local community, there is nothing more meaningful to us than taking the time to recognize, celebrate, and thank the brave servicemen and women who have given so much for our country.

The day kicked off on a truly inspiring note with a special flag-raising ceremony, beautifully performed by the youth of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 257 of Irwin, PA. Their participation reminded us all of the importance of tradition, respect, and community spirit.

Following the ceremony, it was time to celebrate our guests! Military families and community members came together to enjoy a wonderful afternoon filled with great food and fun activities. The event featured a catered lunch, a family photo booth to capture lasting memories, exciting giveaways, and a gift drawing.

While we know we can never fully repay the debt of gratitude we owe our military members, we wanted to ensure every service member in attendance walked away with a small token of our appreciation for their sacrifice. Each veteran and active-duty service member received a commemorative keychain and an oil change gift certificate.

An event like this is a true team effort, and we want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to the incredible local businesses that helped make the day even sweeter:

  • Lil Sista’s Sweets for donating a stunning cake and cupcakes.
  • Benny’s Bakery for providing delicious cookies that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. Whether you are currently serving, have served in the past, or came out to show your support, you made this weekend incredibly special.

At Kenny Ross, we are profoundly grateful for your dedication and sacrifice—not just on Memorial Day weekend, but every single day. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come!
