Kenny Ross Subaru was proud to once again partner with Cross Your Paws Rescue for our annual Subaru Loves Pets – Make a Dog’s Day event! This year’s celebration brought together our community, local families, and some very special adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes.
Cross Your Paws, a dedicated foster-to-adopt rescue, brought a wonderful group of dogs to meet potential adopters throughout the day. Their volunteers were on site sharing each dog’s story, explaining the foster-to-adopt process, and helping guests learn how they can open their homes to a rescue pet in need.
As part of our fundraising efforts, we held a Stuff the Subaru donation drive, inviting visitors to bring food, supplies, and other essentials for the rescue. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Subaru was packed with much-needed items that will directly support Cross Your Paws’ foster families and the animals in their care.
We also welcomed East Street BBQ and Funky Funnels, whose delicious food kept everyone smiling as they enjoyed the day’s activities. Our Howl-o-ween photo booth returned by popular demand, giving pet parents the chance to show off their pets’ Halloween costumes and capture adorable seasonal photos.
Events like Make a Dog’s Day remind us why the Subaru Loves Pets initiative is so meaningful. Millions of animals enter shelters each year, still waiting for the chance to experience the love and security of a forever home.
